an experienced Roofing Sheet Metal Fabricator

to join our team at our shop in

Windsor

. We are a busy construction/roofing company serving the industrial and commercial sectors. This role is strictly focused on roofing sheet metal fabrication

--no welding is required or performed.

Primary Responsibilities

Fabricate metal components for roofing systems, including edge metals, flashing, and custom accessories Operate metalworking equipment such as brakes, shears, rollers, and presses Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders accurately Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal to precise specs Safely operate a propane-powered counterbalance forklift to handle materials and load deliveries. Deliver fabricated items to job sites when required

Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in roofing-related sheet metal fabrication Proficiency in operating propane counterbalance forklifts Strong ability to read technical drawings and blueprints Skilled with fabrication tools and equipment Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and good with math Valid driver's license; forklift certification required OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred

Tools & Equipment Used

Sheet metal brakes, shears, and rollers Tin snips, tape measures, utility knives Forklift (counterbalance, propane) PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and fall protection gear

Work Environment

Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, and standing Team-oriented setting focused on precision, safety, and timeliness 90% of the work is performed in an indoor fabrication shop Occasionally perform on-roof tasks when fabrication support and installation assistance are needed
