Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes and possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing advanced fabrication techniques to produce high-quality components for our manufacturing operations.

Duties

Fabricate metal components according to specifications using MIG and TIG welding techniques. Operate machinery including plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and production. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers for precise measurements. Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or components. Perform machining tasks as required to achieve desired specifications. Assemble ductwork and other fabricated parts for construction projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is essential. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and other welding techniques is required. Familiarity with operating cranes and forklifts is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in assembly processes, is preferred. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are necessary.
