Sheet Metal apprentices will eventually perform all of the following duties as you learn:
Interpret engineering and architectural blueprints, drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed.
Measure and mark, cut and shape sheet metal according to drawings or templates
Perform onsite Installations, ensuring specification accuracy, and compliance to building and nfpa96 codes
Operate fabrication machinery, such as shears, brakes, rollers, and computer operated plasma table with precision.
Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment
Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, various locks, and welding
Overtime available
Clean Drivers Licence (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
