Our client in the Torbram and derry area is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machinery in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Afternoon shift 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM from Monday - Thursday

- Industrial sewing machine - walking foot machine, double needle

Responsibilities

:

Operate machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubricating components. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report any significant problems to the supervisor. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing environment.

Skills

Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.

1-2 years of previous sewing machine operator experience.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
