Set Up Technician
Orangeville, ON
Up to $25/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.
- Quality control and troubleshooting
- General housekeeping
- Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability
- Experience with handheld measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings
- Previous experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, change overs
- Excellent math and computer skills
- Highly detail oriented and organized; above average communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes
- Physically fit and coordinated
- Forklift license/experience
- Based on skills, abilities, experience, etc., the rate ranges from $20.00- $25.00 per hour
- Shift premiums
- Upon being hired full-time:

- Temporary to permanent, fulltime position
- 12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround - 84 hrs biweekly
- Averaging agreements in place
