Expected consequences of interventions, risks and unintended consequences will also be explored. Topics will include (but are not limited to) government budgets, environment and climate change, labour markets, labour force skills, industrial policies, income distribution, housing and the new challenges and opportunities in the economy. Specific examples will be drawn from Canadian government policy developments and Budgets during the session.Estimated course enrolment: 25 studentsEstimated TA support: N/AClass schedule: Thursdays 10am-1pm*The delivery method for this course is expected to be in-person.
