Sessional Lecturer Food and Bioproduct Sciences

The Department of Food and Bioproduct Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2022-23 Regular session:

Course Number, Section, and Name: FABS 460.3(01) Protein Science and Technology/FDSC 850.3 (01) (Advanced Food Proteins)
Term and Course Dates: Term Two (January to April)
CRN: 23268
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:30 am to 11:20 am
Expected Enrollment Limit: 30

Qualifications: Minimum of a M. Sc. degree in Food Science with specialization in plant proteins and ingredients. Past teaching experience would be considered an asset. Knowledge of food protein materials, composition, surface properties, fractionation technology, functionality and value-added uses is important.

Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
