Content depends on the instructor. When offered, the course will have a subtitle that describes its content.Estimated course enrolment: 80 studentsEstimated TA support: NoClass schedule: Wednesdays 5 pm - 7 pmSessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025Salary:Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90 (including 4% vacation)Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term - $9,930.79 (including 6% vacation);Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77 (including 6% vacation);Sessional Lecturer II - Long Term - $10,326.62 (including 6% vacation);Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76 (including 6% vacation);Sessional Lecturer III - Long Term - $10,570.02 (including 6% vacation)Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum qualifications: Completed PhD in an area related to the course required with significant graduate work and ongoing academic development in the field.Preferred qualifications: University-level teaching experience is preferred with evidence of superior teaching evaluations.Description of duties: Preparing lesson plans and lectures; delivering lectures; developing and administering grading, course assignments, tests, and exams; and providing scheduled office hours for academic counselling of students.Application instructions:
