Class Times:

Mon/Thu - 1:00pm-4:00pm (CST) - Jan 8, 12, 15, 19, 22 (5 classes)

Work Location

: In-Person, Buhler Centre, The University of Winnipeg PACE - 471 Portage Ave, Winnipeg - OR - Online via Zoom (live classes on scheduled days/times)

Stipend:

$1,250 CAD

Responsibilities:



Course development of all course content, materials, and assessments based on the provided course name, course description, and learning outcomes Course delivery/facilitation Marking/grading of all assessments, quizzes, etc Provide feedback to students where appropriate Submission of final grades

Required Qualifications:



Bachelor of Education (BEd)/Certified Manitoba Teacher 8+ years of progressive experience in the Canada/Manitoba Education field, including: 1) Teaching in a K-12 classroom, and 2) Working with Educational Assistants and Support Staff Engaging and dynamic presenter with demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language Strong technology skills including experience using Learning Management Systems and Zoom

Preferred Qualifications:



Master of Education (MEd) Industry designations

Additional Information



Stipend

- Instructors receive a stipend per course covering course development, delivery of course materials, grading assignments (with feedback where appropriate), and submission of final grades.

Instructor Developed Materials

- All courses in the Educational Assistant Diploma Program are instructor developed. PACE provides the course name, course description, and learning outcomes, and the instructor develops and facilitates the course materials.
