The Department of Political Science at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach in the Winter 2024 semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course. Note that this course has been timetabled for M/W 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, with the first class on 9 January 2024.
POLS 2620 - Canadian Politics II: The Political Environment & Process (3 Credits)
This course introduces various aspects of Canadian politics, such as political culture, nationalism, regionalism, and biculturalism. It also examines electoral politics, interest group activities and the role of the mass media.
Lecture: Three hours a week.
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to the qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
