Course description: This is a required introductory physiology course for students in the functioning of the human body that is intended for Physician Assistant Program students as part of their required curriculum. The course is comprised of weekly on-line lectures and an active learning component consisting of laboratory simulations (which students have purchased with the textbook).

Sessional dates of appointment: 01/09/2023 to 31/12/2023
Salary: $4,180.80 (80 hours @ 52.26/hour, inclusive of vacation pay)

Minimum qualifications: A PhD in physiology is required.
Preferred qualifications: The candidate will possess a strong background in physiology, with an awareness of course objectives and basic physiology to the satisfaction of the course director.
Description of duties:
The incumbent will keep virtual office hours and monitor postings on the course discussion board.
