Job Description

The Department of Philosophy, History, and Politics seeks qualified candidates to teach POLI 1110 (The Government & Politics of Canada) here at the Williams Lake Campus.


Contract Period: January 5th, 2026 - April 29th, 2026

Course Period: January 12th, 2026 - April 14th, 2026

Exam Period: April 16th - 29th, 2026




TRU's Williams Lake campus is located approximately three hours northwest of Kamloops, in the heart of the scenic Cariboo region, on T'exelcemc territory within the unceded traditional lands of the Secwepemc Nation.

All teaching assignments are subject to successful course enrolment and finding support.




QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in Political Science or a closely related field is required, although ABD candidates may be considered


Research and/or Post-secondary teaching experience preferred
