Start Time and Duration: May 1 - Aug 4th 2023 Lectures Thursday 6-9pm Examination Period - during class time Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties JOB AND ADDITIONAL DUTIES: The applicant will be responsible for all aspects of instructing the course ENGPHYS 3ES3. This includes development and delivery of lecture and laboratory materials, supervision of teaching assistants, and creation of grading rubrics and methods and materials for student assessment. ENGPHYS 3ES3 Introduction to Energy Systems 3 unit(s) A survey course on energy systems with emphasis on the analytic tools needed to evaluate them in terms of performance, resources, and environmental sustainability, costs and other relevant factors over their life cycles.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Master\xe2\x80\x99s or PhD degree in a relevant Engineering or Science field. Strong communication skills are required. Preferred Qualifications Some previous university teaching experience is preferred.
  • Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
