Job Description


On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a ServiceNow Analyst to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is hybrid (two days a week onsite), and the Client is based in Burnaby, BC.Summary of the RoleThe ServiceNow Analyst will support the Client's IT Service Management (ITSM) processes with a focus on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management. The successful candidate will work with various teams to ensure data accuracy, improve CMDB processes, and integrate with incident, change, and problem management workflows.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of ServiceNow ITSM applications, specifically CMDB and Asset Management.
  • Work with ServiceNow Discovery and data reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
  • Implement CMDB Health Certification and governance strategies for data integrity.
  • Develop CMDB policies and processes to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate CMDB with ITSM processes such as incident, change, and problem management.
Core Requirements
  • Functional knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM applications, particularly CMDB and Asset Management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and data reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of CMDB Health Certification and data governance strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement CMDB processes and policies.
  • Experience integrating CMDB with ITSM workflows.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • ServiceNow certifications are an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Experience gathering CMDB requirements from stakeholders.
TermsThis is a 9-month contract role with a hybrid work arrangement (two days a week onsite in Burnaby).
