Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer/ Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills to facilitate smooth communication between customers and the service department. Answering Phones, and ordering parts is a primary part of the Position.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Creating Work orders based on customer requests and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repairs and maintenance required. Provide accurate estimates for services and repairs, including parts and labor costs. Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle performance. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of work orders Follow up with customers regarding part inquiry's, or services.

Skills

Enthusiasm to perform ones Job to the best of their ability Enthusiasm to learn and acquire/ retain learned knowledge about the industry Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with customers. Familiarity with Semi Truck and Trailer repair processes and terminology would be an asset Previous parts/ service writing experience is preferred Computer Skills are required to navigate cross referencing and part breakdowns.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
