As a Service Writer at Canadian Tire Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in our automotive service department. Located in Canada, this position involves interacting with customers to understand their needs and ensuring they receive top-notch service while driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs effectively. Prepare detailed work orders for technicians based on customer requests. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services while promoting additional services. Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Ensure a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience. Assist in upselling products and services to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is a benefit Strong mechanical knowledge to assist customers effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Sales experience with the ability to upsell products and services is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an asset.
