As a Receptionist, you are often referred to as \xe2\x80\x9cThe Director of First Impressions\xe2\x80\x9d and are responsible for providing our customers with the highest level of customer service. This position is all about people, so your expertise is essential to create the experience our customers have come to know and love about Western Tractor. The primary focus of the Service Writer is to maintain accurate and on-time reports and records for the service department\xe2\x80\x99s operation within the organization.
What Does a Receptionist/Service Writer Do?
Answers telephones and personal inquiries in a professional and courteous manner and transfer calls or take messages for the appropriate personnel.
Greets walk-in customers promptly and offers direction to the appropriate department.
Manages customer impressions and follows benchmarks for customer satisfaction \xe2\x80\x93 be friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous.
Adds and updates equipment and customer profile information in the business system.
Counts and balances the till daily.
Maintains Service department filing and records.
Opens, maintains, previews, and closes work orders promptly.
Prepares and submits payroll for service department as per schedule.
Maintains general maintenance and appearance of the showroom.
Position Information
Part-Time Temporary: June 17 to October 11, 2024.
Approximately 8-24 hours per week, hours will vary depending on scheduling requirements.
Days of work will vary from Monday to Saturday of each week.
Required to work statutory holidays when scheduled.

What You Bring to the Table
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Cash handling/balancing experience
Administrative skills with a strong customer focus
Excellent time management skills with the ability to be adaptable
Team player with a positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Following Would Be An Asset (But Not Mandatory)
Previous experience working in the agriculture industry
Knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
