Fort Equipment is a locally owned and operated equipment dealership serving the Amherst area for over four decades. As a trusted Kubota dealer, we proudly provide quality parts, equipment, and service solutions to homeowners and professionals in the agricultural, construction, and turf industries.

We're seeking a Service Writer to join our team and help ensure our Service and Rental Departments continue delivering excellent customer support.

Responsibilities for this position:

Act as the first point of contact for customers with service or rental inquiries. Assist in the daily coordination of the Service Department. Help manage technician schedules and work assignments. Prepare and maintain accurate work orders for customer, internal, and warranty jobs. Submit and track warranty claims to suppliers. Maintain clear and consistent communication with Service Technicians and Drivers.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient with computers and basic software tools. A genuine focus on customer service and teamwork.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Experience:

Experience working with or operating farm, construction or turf equipment is a strong asset.
