Service Technician/Electrician

for our

Swift Current, SK

location.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot and repair farm equipment on customer sites Attend to service calls in a timely manner Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce the risk of breakdowns Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and/or technical problems and determines proper solutions Calibrate equipment according to specifications and operational needs Communicates with Service Manager/Service Writer to plan for future farm visits regarding recurring problems and any unfinished work that needs to be re-scheduled Completes necessary paperwork daily including timecard, work order, etc Provides excellent customer service by answering questions, providing information on maintenance of the product, explaining the work that has been done and providing solutions to recurring problems Partners with Sales team by providing key information required for a project/installation information when needed Works on an on-call rotation
Skills Required:

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical aptitude with previous experience working with and diagnosing equipment issues is preferred Minimum 1 year of agricultural experience is preferred Customer service orientation; friendly and willing to serve/help Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision Working knowledge of computers and MS Office Word; proficient in the use of smart phones Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills Excellent attention to detail
