We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in durable medical equipment repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service.

Duties

Diagnose and repair durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and walkers. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively. Perform routine maintenance tasks and checks. Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Conduct heavy lifting on deliveries such as lift systems and hospital beds. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and repair options. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist clients with purchases on equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory. Mechanical knowledge with hands experience in medical equipment repair. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
