Summary:
The Avensys Service Team supports a wide range of equipment covering the environmental and instrumentation markets. Based in our Oakville office, the main duties will include working on various equipment, effectively troubleshooting equipment independently, quoting/following up with customers, and being a good representative of the company's service efforts. Providing top-notch customer service and a positive attitude are essential.

Work safely and in alignment with all health and safety regulations
Be knowledgeable on multiple Avensys products. (Internal and factory training will be provided.)
Manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Perform calibrations and repairs correctly, on budget, and in a timely fashion.
It is considered an ASSET if you have past experience producing repair estimates.
Quote repairs, lead times, and terms to all customers and schedule timely follow-up
Communicate electronically and/or via phone with Avensys's customers and manufacturers to help troubleshoot customer's devices
Support all product Electrical inspections
Be a reliable service resource for external and internal customers
Support the rental department as directed by management
Work with our CRM program and related systems to capture customer information and service activity
Seek new service opportunities and develop leads from our website, customer emails and phone inquiries
Efforts are required to maintain existing business and seek new business
Work is generally based in our Oakville location. Travel across Canada and the USA will occasionally be required so a valid passport is necessary for this role.
Support other offices in peak periods and for vacation and sick coverage
Full participation in annual warehouse inventory and unit fleet counts
Other duties as required by the Avensys management team
Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
A post-secondary education in electronics or electronics technician/ technologist is necessary
A post-secondary education in the electrical or the electro-mechanical field would be considered an
ASSET
Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to work through service manuals and schematics
Must be organized
Possess avid knowledge of using power and hand tools
Exhibit advanced disassembly/assembly and soldering skills
Three to four years of industry related disciplines is preferred
Familiarity with Business Central or another Customer Service Software would be considered an asset.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proven analytical/ problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
Must be organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required
Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment to meet or exceed goals
Stay up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and company products.
Valid drivers license and passport are mandatory
A positive attitude is essential
