to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. In this role, you will assemble, pressure test, refurbish, and operate subsea systems and equipment in line with established manufacturing and operational practices. While primarily workshop-based, the position will also include occasional offshore field service assignments on rigs, platforms, and intervention vessels. The initial term is one year.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out work orders, including site acceptance testing, pre-deployment pressure testing, returned goods refurbishment, and post-mobilization activities.
Maintain and service subsea equipment.
Prepare, inspect, and maintain equipment and tooling in the workshop.
Support offshore and onshore mobilization/demobilization and testing of subsea equipment.
Maintain hydraulic test equipment and manage spare parts inventory.
Safely operate hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, as well as lifting equipment and overhead cranes.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering Technology or equivalent.
Working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics.
Strong computer skills, including standard office software.
Willingness and ability to travel offshore and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
Ability to complete Basic Safety Training, including underwater emergency escape and breathing apparatus use.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience in:
Offshore oil and gas operations.
Hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
Interpretation and implementation of hydraulic/mechanical drawings.
