Automation Service Canada supports customers with ABB automation and electrical drives systems and solutions, operating in a wide range of industrial and utilities markets, across Canada. Our customers operate mission critical 24x7 processes which rely on ABB support from installation and initial start-up, through to life-cycle services to maximize the availability of the solutions provided by ABB and optimize their operations. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of Service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within Automation Service Canada largely in Canada and in some cases international locations. Reporting to the Service Manager for the BC, Yukon & NWT region, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders.

  • In this role, you will oversee the delivery of Service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within Automation Service Canada largely in Canada and in some cases international locations.
  • Reporting to the Service Manager for the BC, Yukon & NWT region, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders.
Your background
  • At minimum of five (5) years of experience managing industrial control systems and electrical apparatus projects.
  • Experience in industrial and/or utilities markets is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, financial analysis, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS), Paper QCS Systems.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma
  • Project Management PMP designation is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills \xe2\x80\x93 SAP or other ERP, Microsoft Suite including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
