Job Description

The Service Procurement Manager will lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. This role involves developing reporting tools, setting KPIs, and creating SOPs to streamline processes and drive team performance towards organizational goals


Role Responsibilities




Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring that all members are working efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with the senior purchasing advisor to document and standardize key processes and procedures. Create comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and drive continuous improvement of processes Serve as the ERP/Purchasing System SME and ensure all business process requirements of the purchasing team continue to be met within the system. Support ongoing adoption and provide training to the purchasing team to maximize effective use of the technology. Develop and implement effective reporting tools to track team performance and project progress. Ensure that these tools provide clear and actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives. Regularly review and adjust these KPIs to ensure they remain relevant and challenging, driving the team towards high performance

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications


Post Secondary degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline Minium 5 years' experience in procurement preferably in an industrial organization Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is an asset Experience in SAP preferred Previous Team Management experience is required Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices Project Management Skills Technical Proficiency
