We are currently looking for a personable, detail-oriented Service Manager to join our growing organization in the Mount Pearl branch office. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service experiences and maintain strong relations with customers, manufacturers, dealers, sales representatives and service team members. As such, you must be a positive, energetic leader who excels in working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Service Manager will work directly with service technicians and parts staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Job Responsibilities:
Direct & coach service technicians for optimal performance.
Inspect & monitor work progress of all active jobs.
Continuous improvements of job scheduling and resource management for efficient, profitable service business.
Consistently deliver excellence in customer service.
Strive to be the highest source of information for service troubleshooting, product-knowledge, and work processes for our customers.
Oversee service activities in our shop and on job sites.
Focus on growing service and aftermarket sales by establishing an effective sale program.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key manufacturers.
Prioritize health and safety standards and a clean work environment.
Conduct performance reviews with each technician to motivate employee engagement and professional growth.
Ensure the maintenance, inspections and proper recorded keeping of Service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws.
Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can benefit the company.
Other Requirements:
Understanding of mechanical equipment and a strong willingness to learn the products that Sansom represents.
Professional oral and written communication skills.
Structured, efficient and results driven.
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong computer skills with Microsoft programs (such as Outlook, Excel, Word)
Physically fit to comfortably navigate industrial and marine work environments.
Dedicated to maintaining an organized, tidy workstation / service department.
Highly self-motivated towards market growth in Parts & Service
