Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager for our Whitecap Chrysler dealership to lead our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a background in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership setting. As a Service Manager, you will oversee service operations, manage a team of technicians, and drive sales through effective upselling strategies while maintaining excellent customer service.

Duties



Supervise daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. Manage and train service staff, providing guidance on automotive repairs and customer interaction. Develop and implement upselling strategies to maximize service sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records related to service operations. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall dealership performance. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for service needs. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.

Experience



Proven experience in a Service Manager role or similar position within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with dealership operations and customer service best practices. Demonstrated ability in upselling services and managing sales effectively. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in cash handling procedures is preferred. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Experience with PBS would be considered an asset
