Jo's Italian Deli is a family-run Italian restaurant and deli. Over time, we've picked through our family's recipe books and grown our offering from a few sandwiches to include a full menu of homemade sandwiches and pasta for lunch and dinner as well as offer a variety of imported Italian grocery items.

Today, in both Chilliwack and Vancouver, our growing team's goal is to continue to serve these same staple foods to an increasing number of guests and friends in a casual, convenient, and friendly space.

The Opportunity

We're a growing business and looking for people to grow with us! In addition to serving our guests, team members make espresso drinks to order, work with the kitchen to expedite orders, and keep our grocery section stocked. Were looking for a Lead capable of coordinating these stations as well as working the floor with the team.

Position Overview

Our Service Leads work with our managers to lead the service team in meeting our food and service standards. We're looking to add a team member capable of leading the team on the floor, training new baristas and service team members, and manage inventory. As you learn your role, you'll be able to grow as we do. In time, you'll be expected to:

- Lead the team by example in the daily operations of the deli

- Assist in the training of other team members

- Lead shifts to ensure standards are met, and to be able to adjust when busy or slow

- Coordinate catering orders

- Place and receive merchandise and supply orders
