Wilsons Heating is looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our team at our Truro office!

Wilsons Heating specializes in custom heating solutions, providing service to thousands of home- and business-owners in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. With 110+ years providing comfort solutions Atlantic Canadians, you'll be joining a trusted team of experts who pride themselves on delivering an exceptional client experience.

As the successful candidate, you'll be primarily responsible for dispatching propane/oil service & installation technicians, accurate and timely data entry, analyzing data and reaching out to obtain missing data when necessary, answering and routing phone calls, occasionally assisting customers at the counter, and other general administrative duties.

This role reports to the Branch/Admin Manager and works closely with several other team members.

Our next Service Dispatcher is someone who is:

Detail-oriented and very organized Dependable and a team player Able to deal with conflict and solve it quickly Client-focused and positive Able to switch between tasks such as answering the phone and data entry projects Skilled in communicating effectively - both verbally and written Familiar with computer applications Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service role Experience in dispatching is an asset Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of GPS systems; familiar with Truro and surrounding areas geography Multitasking skills Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment; for example, to triage customer requests to efficiently schedule service technicians Knowledge of computer programs and aptitude to learn new software systems Excellent communication skills Experience in another data entry or customer service role is an asset

Compensation:

This position is compensated at $46,000 - $48,000 per year depending on experience. Monday - Friday 730am-430pm
