Join Elections Saskatchewan in supporting democratic processes as a Service Desk Resource at their Regina office. We are seeking up to 6 dedicated individuals to staff an internal call centre, providing essential support for Microsoft Office, custom applications, and general hardware and network troubleshooting. Candidates must be available to work shifts spanning from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily, including weekends and holidays, starting October 1, 2024, through November 1, 2024. This onsite position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment for the duration of the contract. Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline support via phone and email for Microsoft Office and custom applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and network issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Follow standardized procedures to escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents and resolutions in the service desk ticketing system.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality support delivery.
Qualifications
  • 3 years experience providing service desk support;
  • 3 years experience supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong familiarity with technological equipment, software, and networking.
  • Be proficient with troubleshooting equipment, solving common problems with technology, and providing support to users.
  • Be proficient in English (both verbal and written);
  • Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Call centre experience would be an asset.
