In your role as Service Design Consultant, you will consult our clients in the design of learning experiences including curriculum design, instructional design, and facilitation training. You will ensure the successful delivery of client engagements and will contribute to overall business development goals through creating proposals, pitching to prospective clients, and managing accounts and relationships. You will aspire to act as a trusted advisor to clients; consult executives to provide business-specific expertise and consultative services in developing and implementing innovative approaches. Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Provides stakeholder consultation, coaching and instruction to learning process improvement, software implementation to learning evaluation.
  • Actively participates in the design, development and implementation of a new track of leadership development programing, delivers entirely in a virtual environment
  • Presents and defends sound and reasoned arguments for a proposed course of action.
  • Proactively researches & develops ideas/product/services which are relevant to CGI and learning & development programming
  • Monitors performance & metrics against business case, resolving where possible and advancing where vital. Monitors (and manages as applicable) client project budgets.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • 3+ years' experience in the field of Learning Design, including in designing complex systems at the organizational level
  • 5+ years' experience in on project teams
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational change management
  • 3+ years' experience in developing workshop materials, leading or participating in design sessions and design testing and product improvement
Desired Qualifications:
  • Training in the field of human centered design or undergraduate to masters' level experience in a designer occupation such as learning & development design etc.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology of software development and/or associated practices such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or LADx (Lean Agile Development)
  • Understanding of computing principles and approaches such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Automation, Enterprise Architecture, Managed IT Services or Digital Transformation
  • Agile Coach Certification, Certified SCRUM Master, PROSCI Change Management practitioner certification, TOGAF certification or training in system and service design will be an asset

  • Able to develop impactful written presentations and participate effectively in meetings with clients, and communicates effectively using a range of channels.
  • Foundation capabilities around business value competence providing qualitative/quantitative assessments that shape the client engagement
  • Demonstrable skills to work in a high pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Uses a range of consulting practices and exploits and adapts as appropriate in various environments and contexts.
