Position Description


Position Description: Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Service Partner Performance we are seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to develop processes and maintain documentation to support our Public Safety and Commercial Radio Networks. Operational Readiness & Assurance is ensuring the organization, administration and leadership of the people, processes and tools, are in place and providing the technical operations functions that they require to deliver successfully all in-service contract requirements. The candidate will have the following accountabilities/responsibilities: Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Service Partners by engagement with procurement, legal and regulatory teams, in regards to agreements;
  • Service Partners on-boarding new and amending existing agreements, working with in the Business Unit and other Client Teams.
  • Establish and maintain performance scorecards for external Service Partner as per contracted service levels;
  • Establish and maintain performance scorecards for internal Service Partners as per contracted service levels;
  • Develop business processes and maintain all established process documentation to support all in-service contractual requirements;
  • Evaluate existing processes and seek process improvement opportunities to optimize efficiencies for our internal and external teams and deliver optimal quality to our customers;
  • Collaboratively develop, deliver and report upon process improvement plans;
  • Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all vendors and partners, both external and internal;
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Authentic, professional and confident communicator able to influence internal and external teams and customer stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in network operations with excellent project management and process development skills;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in access network deployment, operation, construction, equipment and/or technology deployment and quality management;
  • Be highly self-motivated with proactive and creative approach to problem solving
  • Proven excellence in communications and documentation;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects through effective prioritization while meeting timelines;
  • Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate insights and actions;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing is an asset;
  • High level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and MS Project);
  • Self-sufficient and strong ability to drive and adapt to changes; and
  • Ability to motivate others and promote team spirit and employee value
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
