Position Summary
As a
Service Coordinator / Dispatcher
, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating service calls, and ensuring timely and professional communication with clients and technicians. You'll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Project Manager, and other team members to maintain service quality and build strong client relationships.
Receive and respond to service requests via email and phone
Enter jobs into tracking software and assign technicians based on scope and location
Dispatch technicians and third-party trades for scheduled and emergency jobs
Monitor job progress and ensure quality control through photo reviews
Communicate updates to clients and internal teams
Rotate on-call duties for after-hours and weekend emergency service calls
Client & Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
Ensure customer expectations are met through proactive communication and problem-solving
Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients
Administrative & Planning
Allocate time across administrative tasks, client interaction, planning/follow-up, and meetings
Assist in training new and existing staff
Attend job sites occasionally for training or quality assurance
Business Development & Quoting
Support quoting efforts by forwarding relevant requests to the quoting department
Prepare quotes for new business opportunities as needed
Contribute to positioning the company as the preferred maintenance and repair provider
Qualifications
College diploma or equivalent education
1-3 years of relevant experience in service coordination or dispatching
3-5 years of experience in a similar industry or role preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Ontario geography is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
