Job Description


The Service Coordinator will organize and coordinate all equipment procurement and supplies in collaboration with Ambulatory managers, Regional Materials Management staff, Capital Development, BioMed and Engineering. The Service Coordinator used lean methodology to ensure supplies are organized and managed in the most efficient way and within department budget. The Service Coordinator will maintain Ambulatory Units including monthly safety inspections, WHIMIS inventory, monitor and track inventory (par levels) on supply carts and all outside orders. The Service Coordinator will assist in the acquisition of supplies and equipment through various funding sources including completing funding applicationsQualifications1. Grade 12 (academic level) Post-secondary healthcare diploma/certificate (preferred)
3. 5 years recent experience (within last 2 years) , preferably within a healthcare and/or hospital setting
3. Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Word ,Excel, Spreadsheets
4. Experience in supply chain management
5. Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written)
6. Demonstrated multidisciplinary team work skills
7. Demonstrated problem solving skills
8. Demonstrated decision-making skills
9. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work in demanding, fast-paced environment
10. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning
