Job Description

The RV Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring the workflow in the service department runs seamlessly. In this position, you will provide an outstanding customer experience, ongoing communication with customers, check-in and check-out customers, open and close work orders, collect payments, schedule appointments, and regularly collaborate with the technicians to provide the best possible customer service experience. Responsibilities:

• Welcomes the customers warmly on arrival and obtains information about their unit in for repair
• Explains the nature of the work performed and all the costs to the customers Advises customers on how to look after their RVs and stresses the importance of regular maintenance, based on the manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s technical features Maintains high standards of customer satisfaction
• Ensures that customers are informed of all promotions and services provided by the dealership
• Is responsible for all requests for appointments and inquiries about work underway
• Arranges appointments for maintenance services. When possible, obtain information about the customers and their RV before they come to the dealership
• Sells service maintenance packages, safety inspections, and other services of a similar nature or any other maintenance required by the manufacture
• Utilizing the dealership Dealer Management System, accurately record the RV\xe2\x80\x99s problem experienced by the customer, on the work order and effectively (written and/or verbal) translate the customer needs to the Technicians
• Prioritize work orders and distribute them to the Technicians
• Prepares a detailed and accurate estimate of the cost of labour and parts
• Determines the time frame for completion of the work; verifies this with the shop supervisor if necessary.
• Checks how the work is progressing throughout the day. Contacts customers if there is any change in the estimate or the time frame for completion of the work, explain the cost and time required in detail, and obtain the appropriate authorization before any additional work is done

Requirements:

• Previous Service Advisor experience required

• Previous experience with RVs and/or power port/marine sales and service is an asset

• Good computer/word processing skills are required

• Previous experience using dealer management software is an asset

• Excellent written and communication skills is required

• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment is required

• Being Highly organized

• A strong team player

• Must have a valid driver\'s license and a clean drivers abstract

• Ability to start, control and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
