Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Serveuse/Serveur to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service and hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a passion for customer satisfaction. The position offers opportunities to develop skills in food handling, upselling, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing needs promptly Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for billing purposes Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus, including serving, food handling, or kitchen experience Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Nous embauchons - Serveuse / Serveur a temps partiel
