Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be crucial in delivering outstanding service.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need, including refills on drinks and additional condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Sanitate tables and dining areas between guests to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Handle cash and process payments accurately at the end of the meal. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy periods, ensuring quality standards are met.

Skills

Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing is preferred. Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately. Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow. Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper sanitation techniques. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
