Louis the XIV meets punk chic at our downtown Victoria lounge!Dorothy's is looking to add some experienced servers to our team as we gear up for our busy season! As a server at Friends of Dorothy, you are the face of a wonderful inclusive space for queers, allies, and everyone in between. It is a space free of discrimination, harassment and prejudice. The foundation of our culture leads with kindness, tolerance and compassion.What is your role?-Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods-Offer interesting, and vivid descriptions of items, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using a POS system; coordinate food timings-Running food as it is up in the kitchen-Running drinks as they are up at the bar-Assist with cleaning and resetting tables-Perform opening and closing tasks-Verify identification and vaccine passports-Mix traditional and creative cocktails-Process payments from customers-Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferencesPlease send us your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and why you feel you would be a great fit for our team!
