Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour
