Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, attending to their needs, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation standards are met. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout the shift. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

Strong knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions effectively. Experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction. Proficient in cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions. Experience with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
