Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining accuracy. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Skills

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while engaging with guests. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices. Familiarity with cash handling processes and POS systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: $19.00-$23.87 per hour
