Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Ensure accurate food preparation and presentation according to restaurant standards. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and potential allergens. Process orders efficiently using the point-of-sale system, including cashiering and cash handling duties. Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping guests with their needs.
