Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated food Prep and counter help candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of Tex Mex fast food and serve customers behind the counter. They have to be available to work a day shift, night shift and weekends. Tex Mex fast food experience is required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards
- serve customers behind the counter preparing burritos, bowls, tacos and quesadilla.

-closing duties require cleaning of the resturant.

- must be able to communicate in English

-must have experience in handling cash and a pos system.

Skills

- Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Team player with excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
