Postmaster's Bakery runs a mini donut stand at the Mary Brown's Center in downtown St. John's.
Summary
We are seeking a team of passionate Servers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences while contributing to our mission of spreading happiness through good food.
Responsibilities
Greet and serve customers with enthusiasm and professionalism. Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and upsell items. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus. Experience with POS system (Square) is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.Must have, or be willing to obtain, a criminal background check and vulnerable sector check through RNC.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
Work Location: In person
