Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of orders. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and cash handling is advantageous. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
