Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering high-quality care in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and hospice care.

Duties

Provide patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities and routines. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy. Experience in meal preparation that meets dietary restrictions or preferences. Knowledge of home care practices, including safety protocols and hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively with persons with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Physical capability for heavy lifting as required by specific client needs. Background in nursing or related fields is a plus but not mandatory. Experience in dementia care, hospice care, assisted living, or senior care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
