Are you a 3rd or 4th year student with a passion for policy, regulatory frameworks, or legal studies? ATCO Electric is seeking a motivated Co-op Student to support our Operations team during a key regulatory cycle. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support our operations.

What You Bring:

• Currently a 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a post-secondary Arts or Science program
• Must be enrolled in a co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
• Your background or coursework includes areas like political science, legal studies, public policy, or regulatory affairs.
• Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong personal initiative, ability to deliver high-quality results, and a desire for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What you get to do:

• Assist with regulatory filings and internal documentation related to key operational initiatives.
• Help prepare internal materials, summaries, and reports for regulatory submissions and internal governance.
• Track deadlines, maintain organized records, and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration between Operations, Regulatory, and Legal teams.
• Occasionally assist with quality assurance activities or business process documentation related to operational compliance.
