Job Description

We are looking for an SEO Strategist to join our team and help our clients achieve higher rankings and more organic traffic. This role involves creating tailored SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, performing competitor analysis, and optimizing on-page and technical elements like Schema Markup and site speed. You'll collaborate with our content and web design teams to ensure everything aligns with SEO goals while tracking results using tools like GA4 and GSC. Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive keyword research using Ahrefs to identify target keywords.

Crafting and implementing URL optimization strategies for better site structure, content organization for both humans and search engines.

Designing and managing internal linking strategies using pillar and sub-pillar pages to enhance site structure and SEO.

Developing content topical maps to guide content creation and optimization.

Performing thorough competitor analysis to benchmark and strategize SEO efforts.

Executing detailed SEO website audits to identify areas for improvement.

Implementing on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, image optimization, schema markup, optimizing for SERP features, etc.

Collaborating with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all content.

Staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates, guiding other team members on the updates.

Tracking and analyzing metrics from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Ahrefs and other tools we use.

Collaborating with the web development team to ensure SEO-friendly site architecture.

Managing local SEO efforts, including Google My Business and local citations using Bright Local.

Implementing schema markup to enhance search visibility.

Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, 404 issues, redirect chains, broken links, etc...

Ideal Candidate Profile

Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing SEO strategies that have yielded significant results. Applicants should be prepared to present case studies or examples of their successful SEO campaigns as proof of their expertise.

A strong educational background in SEO, having learned from some of the best SEO programs and certifications in the field like Nathan Gotch, Matt Diggity, Kyle Roof, Ryan Stewart, Koray Tu?berk GUBUR, Ryan Deiss, etc. This shows a commitment to learning from top industry experts and staying at the forefront of SEO innovation.

Proficient in Notion, which we use for project management and organization.

Proficiency in French & English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both.

Strong analytical skills to dissect complex data, understand SEO metrics, and make data-driven decisions.

Ability to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals.

Staying abreast of rapidly changing SEO trends and algorithm updates requires a quick and eager learning attitude.

A good grasp of SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Rank Math and familiarity with WordPress.

Resourcefulness in identifying challenges and independently finding effective solutions.
