Job Description

We are an Ontario based HVAC company that provides heating, cooling, and indoor air solutions to customers in Ontario. We have immediate opening for experienced and highly motivated SEO Specialist.

Key responsibilities:

SEO Support - 60%

- Conduct keyword research, on-page technical audits, optimization and execution on the off-page strategy

- Data collection through design and implementation of tracking codes (GTM, Google Analytics etc)

- Provide weekly reports/summary for campaign performance and milestones

- Analyze organic search health and opportunities, through a holistic understanding of the interplay between Paid and Organic Search (Paid is primary).

- Stay informed on the latest trends in the Search Marketing industry in North America through constant research, article reading, webinars, and industry events.

- Monitor all website analytics and make solid recommendations based on data regarding campaign flow, SEO, UX, and conversions

- Develop and organize keywords into a strategic campaign structure that puts client ads in front of highly relevant online searchers

Digital Promotion - 30%

- Experience with Google Adwords platform (certification is an asset):

- Manage the day-to-day search marketing activities across various search engines (Google, Bing/Yahoo) including campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimization of paid search campaigns

- Manage bids and campaign budgets on a daily basis to meet/exceed KPIs

- Develop end to end campaigns for clients related to organic SEO, PPC and social media (Facebook)

Website maintenance - 10%

- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

- Working with developers to improve website performance and positioning in Google search

- Ensure the website has the most relevant information and seasonal promotions

- Manage website content and making updates

- Domain set up and management

Desired skills:

- Good knowledge of SEO/SEM principals and email marketing best practices.

- Ability to work within budget parameters

- Proficient working knowledge/certification of: Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console and Google trends (Kenshoo is an asset)

- Ability to integrate and synergize PPC and SEO campaigns for maximum impact.

- Solid understanding of how other media activities affect PPC, SEO and Paid Social campaigns.

- Working knowledge of WordPress and PHP

- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and WordPress Skills are a strong asset

- Experience with developing landing pages

- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud is an asset but not required

- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SemRush, WebTrends)

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
