SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the Senior Driver operates a company vehicle to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within an industrial area.

JOB DUTIES

Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required. Coordinates the loading or unloading of trucks. Prepares receipts and verifying orders. Ensures vehicle and equipment are clean, safe, and kept in working order. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions. Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery. Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Strong efficiency and time management skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift to 50 lbs.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license and annual review of driving record. Road test is required upon hire. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring. Internal training and certifications required upon hire. Medical Card / DOT Physical. May be required to earn safety certifications for specific customers. Must comply with applicable federal DOT guidelines.
