Department Overview

TD Private Wealth Management takes a sophisticated and holistic goals discovery approach to wealth planning and protection to provide highly personalized advice, solutions and service to clients.

The Wealth Operations team enable resources for operational needs across the Wealth business resulting in lower costs with excellent customer-service levels. The team facilitate key business strategies to handle core business processes and lead cross operations initiatives while ensuring operational effectiveness. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma with over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Undergraduate degree/ college diploma is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of business unit, regulatory issues and variety of products, processes and systems
  • Strong communications skills with ability to work in a team as well as independently

Are you an expert in providing operational support as well as processing transactions and other processing activities in line with established guidelines and Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs)? If so, then the position of Senior Wealth Ops. Officer might be the perfect fit for you. In this role, you are expected to:
  • Maintain high service level by providing optimal customer and partner service and resolving process or operational issues within customer service standards and raise internally as required
  • See opportunities to improve service delivery, processes, productivity and efficiency levels
  • Build and maintain working relationships with customers, partners and vendors by responding to their concerns effectively
  • Act as a project lead for conducting research, reporting and analysis of projects to make recommendations and assess the effectiveness of programs
  • Participate fully as a member of the team by supporting a positive work environment and ensuring timely communication of issues as well as day-to-day activities
  • Handle first level escalated issues, resolve exceptions and provide work guidance as appropriate

Additional Information

Must have the Investment Dealer Supervisors Course
Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course and fluency in French would be an asset.
